Join us in welcoming Surfin' Santa to the shores of Capitola Beach! Santa will be riding the waves via Outrigger canoe, rain or shine, for his annual visit to Capitola Village, arriving at 12pm to visit with all the kids until 3pm. Once toweled off, he'll settle in his beach chair for a nice, long visit. Be sure to bring your camera to capture Santa's wave riding arrival, and your little ones special visit with Santa. It makes a great holiday photo!
While awaiting your visit with Santa, enjoy festive entertainment with the faeries from Happily Every Laughter, magic from The Surfing Magician, musical play and sing-a-long with MusicalMe/Music Together, face painting with the Girl Scouts, and refreshments until 3pm. Surfin' Santa will arrive rain or shine, however entertainment will be canceled in the event of rain.
Join us for the Capitola Village Tree Lighting at 5pm, with holiday carols performed by the Soquel High Jazz Singers, 5 - 6pm. Tree Lighting takes place at the intersection of Capitola and Monterey Avenues in front of Mijo's Taqueria and Souza's Ice Cream.
