Chamber Luncheon - Spotlight on Rispin Park

Join us for an engaging Chamber luncheon as we explore the rich and layered history of one of Capitola’s most iconic landmarks. Built in 1921, the Rispin Mansion has lived many lives. First as a private residence, then as a convent, and now a city-owned park, officially open to the public, with future historic enhancements planned through an active fundraising campaign.

We’ll take a closer look at the story behind Rispin Park, the vision guiding its continued restoration, and the community effort helping bring its next chapter to life. We’ll hear from Capitola Museum Curator Deborah Osterberg, who will share the history of the property, landscape architect Mike Arnone on the design and planned enhancements, and Gayle Ortiz on the fundraising campaign supporting this important work.

This is a great opportunity to connect past and present, and learn how Rispin Park is continuing its transformation as a lasting community treasure for generations to come.
