DESCRIPTION:It's FESTIVAL time!\n\n~ 38th Annual Capitola Art & Wine Festival ~\n\nSeptember 11 & 12\, 2021\n\n\n\nArt\, wine\, music\, dance\, and good vibes all in the enchanting beach-side setting of Capitola Village summer's last hurrah\, and truly a weekend in paradise!\n\n \n\nStroll the Festival sipping exceptional wines from the Santa Cruz Mountains while admiring the artistic talents of over 100 fine artists. Sway to the rock n roll sounds of The Lost Boys featuring James Durbin\, and funky grooves from Extra Large. Be inspired by local dance groups\, and keep a look out for The Great Morgani\, accordionist extraordinaire. A 20th anniversary commemoration featuring the Santa Cruz Area Scottish Bagpipes will take place on Saturday at 2pm in remembrance of the victims of 9/11\, and honoring first responders\, our heroes on the front lines.\n\n \n\nAdmission FREE!  Wine tasting requires purchase of 2021 Festival Glass ($15) and tasting tokens ($1 each). Tastings vary between 2   4 tokens. Must be 21+ to wine taste\, purchase glass and tokens.\n\n\n\nFree bike valet parking at the festival.\n\n\n\nFree parking and shuttle from Capitola Mall. Look for FESTIVAL SHUTTLE signs in the mall parking lot off Capitola Road near the Spirit Halloween parking area (formerly Sears). Shuttle operates Saturday\, 9:30am - 8pm\, Sunday\, 9:30am - 7pm.\n\n\n\nFor the safety and wellbeing of all\, the festival will follow state and local COVID-19 guidelines as recommended by the CDC at the time of the festival. Face coverings are required in all indoor settings\, regardless of vaccination status\, in accordance with the health order mandated by county health officials. While face coverings are not required outdoors\, they are recommended in crowded outdoor settings.\n\n \n\nThe Capitola Art & Wine Festival is a community event hosted by the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce. It is the premiere fundraiser supporting the Capitola-Soquel Chamber\, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization\, as well as the local school and community groups that assist with the festival. We are grateful to our hardworking volunteers that help in more ways than we can count.
