Surfin' Santa

Ho...Ho...Ho! By Outrigger canoe and surfboard, Surfin' Santa and the Reindeer will be making their way to the shores of Capitola for their annual visit. Join us on the beach to welcome Santa's wave riding arrival at 12pm. Once Santa lands on shore, he'll joyfully greet the crowd before settling in his beach chair for a nice long visit with all the kids. Be sure to bring your camera to capture a memorable day in Capitola...could very well make the perfect Christmas card photo! Enjoy refreshments and face painting while waiting to visit with Santa.

In addition, the Soquel High Choir will be strolling through Capitola Village singing holiday carols from 12 – 2pm. In celebration of Small Business Saturday, storefronts will be decorated with holiday cheer, and your favorite local shops will be open and filled with merchandise perfect for gift giving. Trees will be twinkling throughout the village, with a tree lighting to take place at 5pm in front of the Capitola Mercantile in the courtyard entrance facing the Esplanade. 

*The Capitola Village Window Decorating Contest will run for 20 days starting with Surfing Santa on Sat, Nov 25th and ending on the first day of iSkate Capitola on Fri, Dec 15th. Capitola Village businesses will be competing for the title of  “Best Holiday Window Decoration.” The winner will also get $150 donated to a charity of their choice.
