The beloved bookstore at Capitola Mall has entered an exciting new chapter! Formerly operated by the Friends of the Capitola Library, the bookstore has transitioned to the Grey Bears Book Den. We’re thrilled this treasured community bookstore remains in the Capitola Mall, now supporting the important work of Grey Bears.

Donate books, CDs, and DVDs, or schedule a donation pickup. Every donation and purchase helps Grey Bears provide food and support to seniors throughout Santa Cruz County.

Save the Date! Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Saturday, May 30, at 12 PM at the Grey Bears Book Den at Capitola Mall as we celebrate this exciting new chapter for a beloved community bookstore.
