SUMMARY:Capitola Halloween Car Cruise
DESCRIPTION:Capitola Halloween Car Cruise - a free and spooktacular\, socially distanced\, family-friendly Halloween event. Decorate your car\, dress in costume...all participants will remain socially distanced within their own car. Cruise will begin at Capitola Mall\, and will cruise to Capitola Village ending at the Capitola Recreation & Community Center at Jade Street Park with a drive-through treat bag pick up. See cruise route below.\n\n\n\nCar Cruise line-up will begin at 2pm in the Spirit Halloween (former Sears) parking lot at the Capitola Mall. Cruise will begin promptly at 2:15pm. Volunteers will be on site to guide vehicles where to park while waiting for cruise to begin. Cruise drivers should maintain a safe and tight cruise line to avoid gaps\, and follow Capitola PD's direction at all times.\n\n\n\n*Please REGISTER YOUR CAR HERE or click the REGISTER NOW tab above. This will help event coordinators to prepare for the number of cars participating in the cruise\, as well as the number of children to expect.\n\n \nROUTE:\n\nCruise will leave Capitola Mall at 38th Ave and travel south on 38th Ave to East Cliff Dr. Left on East Cliff Drive\, Right on Opal Cliff Drive. Right on Cliff Drive. Left on Wharf Road\, slight left  to Capitola Road. Left on 45th ending at Capitola Recreation & Community Center at Jade Street Park. \n\n \nEvent is sponsored by Capitola Recreation\, Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce\, Capitola Police Department\, and Capitola Mall. \n\n\n\nCar decorating guidelines from Capitola PD:\n\nNo decorations allowed on front or rear windshield\, or anywhere that restricts driver?s visibility.\n\n\n	Avoid red decorations and lights on front of car\n	No flashing lights are permitted\n	Underglow must not emit more than 0.05 candela per square inch\n	All aftermarket lights must be installed at least 12 inches from vehicle?s required lights\n\n  Capitola PD highly recommends avoiding blue\, red and green colors on all aftermarket lights including underbody glow\, as these colors are used on emergency vehicles.\n\n\n\nQuestions?
