DESCRIPTION:The Santa Cruz County Office for Economic Development is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual 82% Micro Business Summit event at Cabrillo College. Open to 300 local small businesses\, the daylong conference will feature a keynote speaker and twenty education sessions to help small business owners navigate the marketplace to increase their exposure\, grow their business and boost profitability.\n\n\n\n"Santa Cruz County has a long tradition of incubating vibrant\, successful\, one-of-a-kind businesses that employ the majority of our workforce\," County Economic Development Coordinator Barbara Mason said. 82% of local businesses have nine or fewer employees\, classifying them as micro-entrepreneurs.
